About the Writer
A few notes on who is writing this.
My name is Prateek MainaVi, and I am a writer of small, slow things — stories, essays, and short reflections that try to take their time. I write about what I notice: the way light falls through a tea-stained curtain, a conversation half-heard at a corner stall, the unsaid things that live between two people sitting quietly together.
This journal is my notebook, made public. Some of what you read here is fiction; some is not. Most of it lives somewhere in between, the way most truths do.
I believe writing is a slow craft. I do not chase the new; I sit with the old, and listen.
If you have wandered in here, please stay a while. There is no hurry.
